Mrs. Almagene Clark , 94
Mrs. Almagene Clark, 94, of Gainesville passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Danny Hart, Reverend Jeff Morgan and Reverend Jaron Lanphear will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 24, 2020 from 2:00 pm. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on December 7, 1925 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late J.M. and Dovie Elrod White. She was retired from Little River Hatchery. Mrs. Clark was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her first husband, Crawford Riley Henson and second husband, A.B. Clark, Jr.; sisters, Mildred Morrison and, Jimmie Wilson; brothers, J.C. White, and Ray White.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her son and daughter in law, Pete and Shirley Henson of Lula; daughter and son in law, Janice and Danny Hart of Lula; son and daughter in law, Mike and Kathy Clark of Gainesville; daughter, Angie Lanphear of Gillsville; son, James Clark of Gainesville; grandchildren, Stacey, Kristie, Melissa, Josh, Shannon, Wesley, Jaron, Trace; 17 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren, brother, Stanley White, Rev. Grady White, Frank White and a number of other relatives.
The family would like to thank the staff of New Horizons Lanier Park for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Clark.

Your loss is heavens gain. I have such sweet memories of Alma as she was such a loving Christian and a great role model for us younger women as we worshiped together at East View Baptist Church for many years.
