Lieutenant Christopher Thomas McNeal, 54
Lt., Christopher Thomas McNeal age 54 of Flowery Branch, Ga passed away on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at his residence following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dave Matthews will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday January 22, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lt., McNeal was born on October 16, 1966 in Gainesville, Ga to the late L.C. McNeal and Regina Martin McNeal. He was retired from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office where he served as a Lieutenant and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Lt., McNeal is survived by his children, Calem McNeal, Maegan McNeal, Corin McNeal all of Flowery Branch, Ga sister, Jill Connally of Flowery Branch, Ga and a host of family and friends.

I was so saddened by the news of the passing of Lt. McNeal. We worked together for several years and always enjoyed our talks about law enforcement. I will cherish these times always and I am so thankful for our friendship. Lt. McNeal, thank you for your many years of service... your memory will live on in the hearts of all your brothers and sisters that wear the badge past and present. Prayers for your family during this difficult time.
Where do I begin...Lt. McNeal was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I so enjoyed our days working together at HCSO. Prayers sent to his family, friends and fellow officers that all knew and loved him. Rest high on that mountain sir and thank you for your many years of service.
