Mr. Jeffrey Martin Cline, 73
Jeff Cline, 73 of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 8th, 2020 in the loving company of his family.
He was born on November 30th, 1946. The highlight of his life was spending time with his grandchildren. He worked for over 20 years at Mansfield Oil Company and retired in 2005. In his retirement he enjoyed landscaping, playing golf and watching his grandsons play baseball. He was a mentor and father figure to more than just his kids and was one of the best listeners when those close to him needed someone to confide in. His loving and caring spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents William and Alice Cline of Port St. Lucie, Florida and his brother, Bill Cline of Alamogordo, New Mexico. He is survived by his sister Beverly Dennis of Perrysburg, Ohio and sister Roni Davis and her husband Tommy of Hayesville, North Carolina; His 3 children, Julie Cochran of Cumming, Janine Cline of Flowery Branch and Joel Cline and his wife Elizabeth of Buford; His beloved grandchildren Austin Mitchell, Tyler Flood, Christian Cline, and Walker Cline.
A Visitation/Gathering is scheduled 6-6:45 pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:45 pm on Friday, March 13th at Memorial Park South 4121 Falcon Parkway Flowery Branch, Georgia 30542. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Buford 4550 Hamilton Mill Road Buford, Georgia 30518 or Redwine United Methodist Church 3285 Poplar Springs Road Gainesville, Georgia 30507.
Joel and Elizabeth and the whole Cline clan, I have to tell you how much I love this man. I remember our travels and his amazing cookouts. He is kind and has one the most open hearts and was such a wonderful mentor for everyone he touched. He will be dearly missed. Love some Jeff Cline!! Rest in Peace dear friend and may God Bless your family.
Joel, Julie and Janine- My love, prayers and blessings to all of you. I have a lot of love for Jeff Cline. Knowing Jeff was certainly a blessing. He was a strong mentor, leader and a kind and generous man with a big, loving heart. Jeff certainly made an impression on everyone who entered his life and he will most definitely be missed by all. May you find some comfort knowing he touched a lot of people and he leaves a fine legacy of children and grandchildren.
