Mr. Tim Hill, 84

           Mr. Tim Hill, age 84 of Oakwood, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

            Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday January 18, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Avery Hutto will officiate.

            Mr. Hill was born April 24, 1935 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Curtis Hill and Georgia Speck Hill.  He was a retired Master Sargent in the U. S. Air Force and was of the Baptist Faith. 

            Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Colette N. Hill of Oakwood, his daughter, Rebecca Hill Dussetschleger of Yelm, Washington, his daughter & son-in-law, Elizabeth “Liz” & Ronald Vedder of Cleveland, grandchildren, Timothy W. Dussetschleger, Amelia E. Vedder and Abigail G. Vedder, sister, Betty Hill Frost of Titusville, Florida and a number of nieces and nephews.

I have known my uncle Tim since birth... My Mom's baby brother.... The few things I remember about him best.. his wife Collette.. and his two baby girls.. We didn't see each other much, growing up, but I remember his uniform and pride in his family and country!! He had what could only be described as a "Tim" since of humor.!!! He raised my cousins Rebecca and Liz as a servant of this country in our armed Forces, Because of this they speak multiple languages and are brilliant..!! .. To You Uncle Tim... Job Well Done..!!

To our wonderful friend Tim Hill. you are in our thoughts and our prayers. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen. Unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear. We love you grandpa Hill. Antonio, Jeremy and Nordys Lopez.
