Josephine "Jo" Weatherly

Josephine “Jo” Weatherly, 88, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away on March 1, 2024.

Born to the Isaac Adams and Lois Jordan Adams on September 22, 1935 in Danielsville, Georgia. She was the wife of the late Robert “Bob” Weatherly, Jr. Jo was the owner and operator of Gainesville Book Keeping for over 30 years. She was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia. In addition to her parents and husband Jo is preceded in death by her siblings Ralph Adams and Evelyn Adams.

She is survived by her son Glen Weatherly; daughter Linda W. English (Terry); granddaughters who she loved so much Carley English and Rachell Pursley; siblings Jimmy Adams, Hugh Adams and Brenda Carey as well as a host of other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel starting at 12:30 until 1:30 pm. A graveside service has been scheduled for Monday, March 4, 2024 at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, Georgia at 3 pm. Rev. Maxey Ladd will officiate the service.
