Ramona (Duron-Escareno) Gomez

Mrs. Ramona Gomez, 69, of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church on Monday, March 4, 2024. Father Jorge Carranza will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on August 18, 1954 in Ojuelos de Jalisco, Mexico, she was the daughter of Ramon Duron and the late Maria Del Socorro Escareno. Mrs. Gomez was retired from Wayne Farms where she was a Line Associate. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Mrs. Gomez is survived by her husband, Margarito Gomez of Gainesville; daughters, Maria Juana Gomez Duran, Maria Carmen Laguna; son, Jose Margarito Gomez; daughters, Maria Alejandra Gomez, Maria Paula Gomez all of Gainesville; father, Ramon Duran of Guanajuato, Mexico; several brothers and sister; 19 grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
